| Serve
It is always nice to go to a restaurant and have someone wait on us. However, being served takes on a greater purpose when someone reaches out to meet a need in our life, not because they have to, but because they care. And when we become the ones who reach out to others, in and with the love of Christ, we begin to look beyond ourselves and take action concerning the temporal and eternal needs of others. In serving others in our walk with Christ, we learn truly what it means to embrace the attitude of Christ who served us by humbling Himself and dying on the cross for our sins. At North Apollo Church of God we know that every believer in Christ is called to serve, and the best way of serving God and others is to see what God is doing in our midst and then join Him. That means we all must have a close relationship with the Lord and follow the lead of His Spirit and His Word. |
